Ramazon Khamroevich Rakhimov

Ramazon Khamroevich Rakhimov is a Tajik politician, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, appointed to the position in 2012. He holds the rank of lieutenant general in the Internal Affairs Ministry of Tajikistan.

Service

Rakhimov held multiple ranks and titles in Tajikistan, and the Soviet Union, prior to becoming the interior minister of Tajikistan. He said that one of his goals is to lower youth crime rates.[1] In October 2013, Rakhimov visited the Rudaki District, where a new police station was opened.[2]

Personal life

He is said to be physically fit and good at chess. Rakhimov is married and has three sons and two daughters.[3]
