Rajound (Rajaund) is a city in Kaithal District of Haryana State in India.

This is an administrative block and sub-tehsil. Its population according to 2001 census is 15,335. Its male population is 8,147, and its female population is 7,188. Rajound is located on State Highway no. 11 at Kaithal-Assandh section. Frequent bus service at every 10 minutes from Kaithal to Rajound is available. The land around Rajound is fertile and well irrigated by canal water and tubewells, it is a major producer of wheat and rice.

Rajound is known for its native Manoj Kumar, an Olympian, Arjuna awardee, and the world's 6th ranked boxer from Rajound. He won a gold medal in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games in the light welterweight category, and he represented India in London Olympics 2012. He is currently representing India for the past 11 years and preparing for the Rio Olympics.

Rajound is also known because of Rajesh Kumar Rajound, the boxing coach of Manoj Kumar and many other national and international boxers. Rajesh himself was a very fine boxer in his early days but later he started coaching other boxers. He brought his younger brothers into boxing to make them champions. The credit of bringing Olympian boxer Manoj Kumar goes to Rajesh. In early days he used to travel daily from his village to Kaithal on a bicycle along with his brothers Manoj Kumar and Mukesh Kumar. Later Manoj become a commonwealth gold medalist, Olympian and Arjuna awardee. Mukesh also became an international boxer and won several medals for India on international platforms. Rajesh is currently working as a boxing coach at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.[1][2]
