List of radio channels in Pakistan

This article is about FM radio broadcasting in Pakistan and includes a List of radio channels in Pakistan. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (formerly, RAMBO - Regulatory Authority for Media and Broadcast Orgainizations) was formed to gradually liberate the broadcasting sector in Pakistan. PEMRA has issued a number of licenses to Cable TV operations, FM Radio stations, and Satellite TV Channels. As per the current rules, FM broadcast licenses are awarded to parties that commit to open FM broadcasting stations in at least one rural city along with the major city of their choice.

Largest channels by coverage

Radio Awaz is the Largest FM Radio Network in Pakistan. It has 17 FM Radio Stations covering the whole Country. Out of 17 FM stations, Radio Awaz have 15 Stations operating only in PUNJAB-PAKISTAN.

ii) Radio Pakistan with largest coverage from North to South almost all over the country is state owned channel. AM and FM 93 Frequenies

iv) FM100 , covers Districts Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Hyderabad, Gujrat, Rahimyarkhan, Jehlum and Abbottabad.

v) Punjab Rung FM 95, Lahore broadcasts in Punjabi language (Promotion of Punjabi Language, Art & Culture, Punjabi Folk Music, Sufi Music)

vi) Apna Karachi FM 107, karachi ki Awaz

vii) 94.6 Tehlka FM covers Districts Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawer.

viii) City FM 89 , project of the Dawn Media Group covers Districts Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.

ix) 106.2 Hum FM covers Districts Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawer and Sukkhar.

x) Mast FM 103 covers Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan
