Radio Peace

Radio Peace is the English version of the radio ministry of the Archdiocese of Miami. It is also the sister station of Radio Paz the Spanish version. Radio Peace is broadcast throughout most of South Florida through WLVJ 1040 AM, as well as over the Internet. Radio Peace and Radio Paz are both 24-hour Catholic radio stations.

In December 1990 Fr. Federico Capdepon realized his great vision when he founded sister station Radio Paz. The vision was of a place where parishes, bishops and priests could evangelize through the media. After founding Radio Paz it was decided that the community and the world needed an English version as well which led to the founding of Radio Peace in 1993.

Today, more than decade later, it continues to strive and help evangelize South Florida and the globe. The current President and Director of Radio Paz is the renowned Fr. Roberto Cid. The ex director, Fr. Alberto Cutie left the Catholic Church in 2009 and he is now an Episcopal Priest.
