Radhika Roy is an Indian journalist.[1] Radhika Roy founded NDTV in 1988 along with Prannoy Roy.

Career

Radhika Roy has over ten years of experience in print journalism, with leading publications such as “Indian Express” and “India Today”. In the mid-80s, she recognized the endless possibilities that TV offered as a news medium and co-founded NDTV.

Awards

Radhika has won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Information, Communication and Entertainment in the year 2003.[2]

Personal life

Radhika Roy is married to her school friend Prannoy Roy. [3] and they have a daughter Tara Roy.[4] Radhika is the sister of Rajya Sabha member and CPI(M) politician, Brinda Karat.[5]
