The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and the Panchayati raj.The village falls under the Maval taluka, The taluka headquarters are situated at Vadgaon and is governed by a tahsildar.As per the 2011 census out of a population of 1,255 people are 841 Literate and 414 are Illiterate ,Pusane has a government run primary school,The school ZPPS Pusane was established in 1946.[2][3] Pusane has 100% employment which consists of 67.63% main workers and 32.37% marginal workers. Out of 537 workers engaged in Main Work,185 were cultivators (owner or co-owner of their agricultural land) and 219 were Agricultural labourers.Total worker in the village are 794, 414 male and 380 are female.The Crops grown in Pusane are Rice (paddy),Sugarcane,Jowar,Bajra,Ragi and Wheat.[4]
