Pulau Bajau

Pulau Bajau is a hypsographic island within Poyan Reservoir in the Western Water Catchment of Singapore. It is part of SAFTI live firing area. Other islands that are within the area are: Pulau Sarimbun and Pulau Pergam.

Etymology

Pulau Bajau means Bajau island, in which Bajau is an indigenous ethnic group residing in Sabah, eastern Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, the Philippines and parts of Sarawak.
