Precision Medicine Initiative
The Precision Medicine Initiative is a research project created by Barack Obama in 2015 with $215 million in funding that aims to make advances in tailoring medical care to the individual.[1] The project aims to collect genetic and health data from one million subjects.[2]
The initiative was announced during the 2015 State of the Union Address[3] and is advised by Verily Life Sciences.[4]
