"Prayer for the Dying" is a song by Seal and Augustus Lundell "Gus" Isidore.[1] It was released as the lead single from his second studio album Seal (aka Seal II) in May 1994, peaking at #14 in the UK Singles Chart and #21 on the Billboard Hot 100. In November 1995, it was released as a double A-side with "Don't Cry"; this release reached #51 in the chart.
