Prashant Raj (born 10 March 1982 in Bangalore) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Kannada cinema. He made his directorial debut with Love Guru in 2009.

Career

Prashant Raj started early part of his career in Bollywood as assistant director in Raaz - Mahesh Bhatt Film.He has also worked in movies: Shootout at Lokhandwala - Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Deewane Huye Paagal - Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Kisna: The Warrior Poet - Directed by Subhash Ghai.

Prashant Raj made his directorial debut with Love Guru in 2009. His fourth directorial venture is Zoom, which released in 1 July 2016 and happened to be a block buster in sandalwood for the year 2016 zoom has completed successful 150days across Karnataka.

His upcoming film is Dalapathi starring Prem Kumar and Kriti Kharbanda.

Personal life

Prashant Raj married Vandana in 2011 and they have two sons.
