Prabhachiwadi (Marathi: प्रभाचीवाडी) is a village in India. It is situated in the Mawal taluka of Pune District in the state of Maharashtra.[1]
Geography
Villages near Prabhachiwadi are Ambegaon, Shevati, Kale, Mahagaon,Mawal, Sawantwadi, Yelase, Kadadhe, Bedse, Karunj, Brahmanwadi and Baur, districts Raigad district, Thane district, Mumbai City district, and Mumbai Suburban district Surrounding Talukas of Parandwadi are Karjat Taluka towards North, Talegaon Dabhade Taluka towards East, Mulshi Taluka towards South and by Khalapur Taluka towards west .Prabhachiwadi is situated about 88 Kilometres from Mumbai which is the capital of Maharashtra.The city of Pune is about 55 kilometres from the village.

The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and the Panchayati raj. The village falls under the Maval taluka, The taluka headquarters are situated at Vadgaon and is governed by a tahsildar.
There are two Colleges near Parandwadi: Avpm's Geeta Vidyaniketan College Of Electronics, Computer Science & Management and Swami Vivekanand College, shivane Maval. Prabhachiwadi only has a primary school.[3]
Prabhachiwadi has 100% employment which consists of 98.32% main workers and 1.68% marginal workers. Out of 179 workers engaged in Main Work, 71 were cultivators (owner or co-owner of their agricultural land) and 19 were Agricultural labourers.Crops grown in Prabhachiwadi are Rice (paddy),Sugarcane,Jowar,Bajra,Ragi and Wheat.
