Prabhachiwadi (Marathi: प्रभाचीवाडी) is a village in India. It is situated in the Mawal taluka of Pune District in the state of Maharashtra.[1]

The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and the Panchayati raj. The village falls under the Maval taluka, The taluka headquarters are situated at Vadgaon and is governed by a tahsildar.

There are two Colleges near Parandwadi: Avpm's Geeta Vidyaniketan College Of Electronics, Computer Science & Management and Swami Vivekanand College, shivane Maval. Prabhachiwadi only has a primary school.[3]

Prabhachiwadi has 100% employment which consists of 98.32% main workers and 1.68% marginal workers. Out of 179 workers engaged in Main Work, 71 were cultivators (owner or co-owner of their agricultural land) and 19 were Agricultural labourers.Crops grown in Prabhachiwadi are Rice (paddy),Sugarcane,Jowar,Bajra,Ragi and Wheat.

Prabhachiwadi literacy rate is 70.10% which is lower than the average of 82.34% in the state of Maharashtra, the male literacy is 81.37% and the female literacy rate is 57.61%.
