Political party strength in Pennsylvania

Partisan identification in the electorate

As of early fall 2016 registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by 919,000 in Pennsylvania, with 4.1 million Democrats and 3.2 million Republicans.[1] 452,669 voters were registered with non-major parties and 702,482 defined themselves as non-affiliated.[2]
