Polidoro Da Lanciano

Polidoro from Lanciano: The Holy Family with St. Catherine of Alexandria and the Infant St. John

Polidoro de Rienzo Da Lanciano (Lanciano, 1515 - 1565) was an Italian painter. His grandfather, Alessandro Rienzo, was a ceramic painter in Lanciano in the Abruzzo. Polidoro moved to Venice where he became a follower of Renaissance masters such as Titian, Pordenone, Bonifazio Veronese, and Paolo Veronese.[1]
