Philippe Monnet

Philippe Monnet (born 31 January 1959) is a single-handed sailor from France,[1] born in La Clusaz. he is the brother in law Julien Clerc.

biography

Monnet is passionate at the age of sixteen, to sail from a family relocation to Cannes. Pioneer routes and record holder in solitary and sailing, he had over 250 000 miles in solo or fully crewed racing on all oceans of the planet. in 2015 he sold his Triumph Herald 1200 in 1961 in Nice organized by Stanislas Machoïr auctions Society.

Paris-Dakar

Monnet won the Paris-Dakar as co-driver alongside Hubert Auriol in 1992 and Jean-Louis Schlesser in 1999 they count 5 participations.
