Philip Claeys (Dutch: [ˈfilɪp ˈklaːi̯s]; born 24 May 1965) is a Belgian politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Flanders with the Vlaams Belang, a right-wing political party which condemns immigration, social integration, and is opposed the federal construction of Belgium. He sits on its Committee on Foreign Affairs, and is a substitute for the Committee on Culture and Education and a member of the Delegation for relations with Australia and New Zealand. Since late 2010, he has been a board member of the pan-European eurosceptic party European Alliance for Freedom.[1]
