Philadelphia Prison System
The Philadelphia Prison System is operated by the city of Philadelphia. All of the facilities are located on State Road in the Holmesburg neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia.
- Curran-Fromhold Correction Facility (population 2,700)
- Holmesburg Prison (limited use)
- Philadelphia Detention Center (about 1,200)
- Philadelphia House of Correction (about 1,250)
- Philadelphia Industrial Correction Center (about 1,000)
- Riverside Correctional Facility (For women) (about 750)
