Peter Gastis (born August 23, 1971) is a former Canadian soccer player who played in the Canadian Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League, and the Canadian National Soccer League.

Playing career

Gastis began his career in 1990 with the North York Rockets of the Canadian Soccer League. He helped North York clinch a postseason berth for three straight seasons. In 1993, after the demise of the CSL the Rockets joined the Canadian National Soccer League. In their debut season in the CNSL, North York secured the regular season championship by finishing first in the overall standings. In the winter of the 1995/1996 indoor season he signed with the Chicago Power of the National Professional Soccer League, where he appeared in three matches, and scored two goals.[1] After the indoor season came to a conclusion he signed with the St. Catharines Wolves in the CNSL.[2] He helped the Wolves claim the Umbro Cup, but fell short in capturing the CNSL Championship by losing in the finals to Toronto Italia by a score 11-0 on goals on aggregate. He returned to the NPSL for the 1996/1997 indoor season to sign with the Toronto Shooting Stars, where he appeared in six matches and scored three goals.
