Pete and Penny

Pete and Penny are a pair of mascots that represent Youngstown State University in collegiate level sports. The two mascots resemble a male penguin, Pete and a female penguin, Penny. The penguin mascot design was suggested by the basketball team in 1933, and was accepted by the student body.[1]
