Percentage solution

"Percentage solution" is an ambiguous term which is used to describe a solution with the unit "%". It may refer to:

Mass fraction (chemistry) if % mass/mass ("% w/w") is meant. Also known as wt.%.
Mass concentration (chemistry) if mass/volume multiplied by 100 (improperly written "% w/v") is meant (see also usage in biology)
Volume concentration if % volume/volume ("% v/v") is meant
