Penny Market XXL is a discount Romanian supermarket chain owned by Rewe Group, which also operates the Billa, Penny Market and Selgros in Romania. As opposed to Billa, XXL stores are generally larger and geared towards low-income and middle-income consumers. Currently there are seven. Penny Market XXL, as well as Billa, are currently pursuing a strategy of rapid expansion in the Romanian retail market.
