Penicillium velutinum is an anamorph species of the genus of Penicillium which was isolated from soil in the United States.[1][3][4][5] Penicillium velutinum produces verruculogen, verrucosidin, verruculotoxin, decalpenic acid, dehydroaltenusin, cyciooctasulfur, atrovenetinone, altenusin and penitrem A[6][7][8][9][10]
