Pelodiscus is a genus of turtles in the family Trionychidae, the softshells.^[1] Genetic analysis suggests that there are currently four valid species known to science.^[2] They are native to Asia.

• Pelodiscus axenaria (Zhou, Zhang & Fang, 1991) – Hunan softshell turtle^[1]
• Pelodiscus maackii (Brandt, 1857) – northern Chinese softshell turtle, Amur softshell turtle^[1]
• Pelodiscus parviformis Tang, 1997 – lesser Chinese softshell turtle^[1]
• Pelodiscus sinensis (Wiegmann, 1835) – Chinese softshell turtle^[1]

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Pelodiscus.
