Pelochelys is a genus of turtles in the family Trionychidae.

These three species are recognized as being valid:^[3]

• Pelochelys bibroni (Owen, 1853) – New Guinea giant softshell turtle^[1]
• Pelochelys cantorii Gray, 1864 – Cantor's giant softshell turtle^[1]
• Pelochelys signifera Webb, 2002 – northern New Guinea giant softshell turtle^[1]

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Pelochelys.
