Path Finder is a fictional character from the various Gobots series and Transformers series. She was voiced by Marylin Lightstone in the Challenge of the Gobots animated series.

Gobots

Path Finder is a female Gobots character.[1] She is a trusted leader among the Guardians. Path Finder can convert into an alien flying saucer which has a faster-than-light drive.[2]

"Pathfinder" was one of the names in a word find that had to be solved to win a copy of the Challenge of the Gobots video game from Your Sinclair magazine.[3]

Animated series

After Leader-1 departed for Earth, she helped spearhead the storming of the Renegades' Gobotron Fortress and capture the defenders.[4]

Path Finder pilots the Command Center to the Gobot Prison Moon.[5]

Path Finder appears in "Flight to Earth" episode #9. She is among the Guardian prisoners of the Renegades freed by Scooter and Sparky.

Path Finder appears in "Return of Gobotron" episode #10, where she arrives on Earth.

Path Finder, along with A.J., help the three main Guardians in Rome 217 B.C. in defeating the Renegades.[6]

Leading the Command Center back to Gobotron and getting rid of Scooter and Small Foot the Renegades then released duplicates of Path Finder, Rest-Q, Van Guard and Turbo. Cy-Kill then arrives in Thrustor with more duplicates, but Small Foot is able to stop with robots using the Space Bender device, which fuses their robot brains.[7]

Path Finder appears in "Nova Beam" episode #32 working with Staks and Zeemon on Gobotron when information came in that the sun of the planet Nirolac had become unstable. She noticed a strange aura around the sun and a beam that seemed to be causing the instability.

Path Finder appears in "Whiz Kid" episode #37.

The Guardians set up a lab to test their power suits on Earth. With Defendor and Blaster patrolling the lab Baron Von Joy and Path Finder test a new suit on Dozer.[8]

Pathfinder appeared in the story "Scooter's Mighty Magnet."[9]

Fun Publications

Path Finder is a main character appearing in Fun Publications' fiction Withered Hope, a text and comic based story. Sent to investigate the effect that is destroying their universe, six Gobots are reformatted to look like Autobots and Decepticons and sent through the Interfacer to the source of the disturbance - the 22nd level. They accidentally arrive on Transtech Cybertron where they are kept against their will in the city of Axiom Nexus. Bug Bite escapes without his allies using an astro beam device. Pathfinder attempts to escape Axiom Nexus using her faster-than-light drive, but is stopped by the Transtech authorities and ticketed. The remaining Gobots run afoul of the Transtech Decepticon General Demolishor in a criminal investigation but are aided by Airazor, Crystal Widow and Cheetor. The Gobots receive upgrades from the shop of Swindle, Swindle and Swindle and are able to leave the dimension thanks to stolen transit passes they obtain. Once they arrive on Earth of the 22nd level where they find Bug Bite and his new Decepticon allies Weirdwolf and Dreadwind.[10]

Path Finder has a cameo in Transcendent by Fun Publications, which occurs at the same time as Withered Hope. She can be seen standing in line for processing in Axiom Nexus.
