"Paradise" is a song by English band Sade from their third studio album Stronger Than Pride (1988). It is Sade's most successful track on the US Billboard Hot R&B chart, peaking at number-one for one week, and peaking at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100.[1] "Paradise" was also a hit on the dance charts, where it peaked at number 21.[2] "Paradise" is often considered their signature song, alongside 1984's "Smooth Operator", 1985's "The Sweetest Taboo", and 1992's "No Ordinary Love."
