PR NewsChannel

PR NewsChannel was created in 2007 by former journalists as an affordable alternative to sending a press release to reporters and editors. PR NewsChannel has direct feeds to newsrooms via The Associated Press (AP) and corporate intranets via Yellow Brix.[1] PR NewsChannel is owned and operated by Selig Multimedia, Inc. and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

Distribution

PR NewsChannel distributes corporate, political and other news items to reach mainstream and industry specific trade media. It uses a continually updated database of 400,000 opt-in journalists. The content is syndicated by companies that include AOL, Financial Content, Google and Google News[2] and Comtex. On June 25, 2009, PR NewsChannel was named the official newswire for the Inc. 500/5000 Conference.[3] PR NewsChannel signed a partnership agreement with The Associate Press (AP) on February 26, 2009.[4] On Nov. 12, 2010, PR NewsChannel announced that Yahoo News,[5] the popular news aggregator, began including its content.
