PNG Labour Party

The Papua New Guinea Labour Party is a political party in Papua New Guinea. At the last legislative elections, 30 June–14 July 2007, the party won 1 seat (the party held 1 seat prior to the election). PNGLP through electoral fraud lost its safe seat of Western Province in 2012 and with the current incumbent referred to the Fraud Squad the likely return of the former Governor appears highly likely. This is in-addition to his court of disputed returns which also appear in favor of Dr Robert Tawa Danaya, MD as the disputed boxes which not counted in the primary count are likely to be excluded from the recount of votes.
