The original game, simply known as PGA Championship Golf 2000 had 13 courses and featured renditions of real golf courses including Pasatiempo Golf Club and Sahalee Country Club. PGA Championship Golf 2000 - Titanium Edition included 20 golf courses, and finally PGA Championship Golf 2000 - Collectors Edition, which featured 32 courses, many of which were fantasy courses provided by online designers.
There is a community of players who visit Golf Sim Clubhouse to discuss the game on a forum and meet up to play online. Over 1,600 user created courses are also available for download and designers can upload new courses to the site.
