Outwood Academy Ripon is a small, coeducational secondary academy school situated in the city of Ripon, in North Yorkshire, England.

The school provides for approximately 600 pupils, including those in the sixth form. The school principal is Stephen Merifield, and the executive principal, Robert Tarn.

Previously known as Ripon City School until 1999 and Ripon College until 2011, it is one of over 11 secondary schools in the local area, including nearby selective Ripon Grammar School, and the more distant Thirsk School and Sixth Form College and Boroughbridge High School.

In 2000 teacher James Kelly of the previous North Ripon College was the regional winner of a teaching award in the "Most Outstanding New Teacher" category.[1]
