"Oh, Babe, What Would You Say" is a song by record producer Hurricane Smith, written by his wife Eileen Sylvia Smith and released in 1972.[1] The song was a transatlantic hit; it made U.S. #1 Cash Box and a Billboard Pop #3 hit,[2] #3 in the Canadian RPM Magazine top singles, and made #4 in the UK Singles Chart.[3]

'Mama' Cass Elliot had originally recorded the song in the summer of 1972, and it is included on her album, The Road Is No Place for a Lady.
