The Nuremberg Cup (currently sponsored by Nürnberger Versicherunggruppe and called the Nürnberger Versicherungscup) is a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany.[1] The event is affiliated with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), and is an International-level tournament on the WTA Tour. From 2014 onward, the event is scheduled to take place the week before the major championship of French Open.
