Number Nine is the ninth studio album from electronic music composer Chris Hülsbeck. It was released by Synsoniq Records in August 2007,[1] ten years after the preceding album Extreme Assault Soundtrack was released. Track-names such as "Lombard Street" and "North Beach Night Life" as well as the cover artwork, the Golden Gate Bridge, of San Francisco, where Hülsbeck has lived since 1998, was a main source of inspiration.[2] The songs of the album have been described as being a melancholic melodic music, which appears to be disillusioning.[3]
