NU Boyana Film Studios (Bulgarian: Ню Бояна Филм) is among the biggest European film studios, situated in Boyana, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Founded as Boyana Film, Nu Boyana Film Studios is a Bulgarian film production complex unique for Southeastern Europe. It was opened in 1962. It is one amongst the few sites in Europe that combine all the necessary facilities for a full film production cycle. Nu Boyana Studios provide complete services and facilities for film, TV programs and commercials pre-production, production and post-production. With an approximate area of 30 hectares (75 acres), the complex features 13 sound stages and a replica of central Manhattan and ancient Rome, complete with a coliseum.[1]

Boyana Film was the main location for film production during the communist regime when Bulgarian cinema was at its peak. In accordance with the economical and political changes in the country during the early 1990s the studio was transformed into a state-owned company in 1995. In 2005 it was sold to the California-based studio Nu Image, which had previously prоduced more than 60 full feature films in Bulgaria.

In February 2007 it was decided to change the name of the Studio into Nu Boyana Film Studios.
