AllMusic[3]

In his review for AllMusic, Andy Kellman notes that "once again, there's little in the way of R&B and country" in Now! 46. The two rap songs included in the set failed to reach the top 40, coming from artists "past their commercial peak". Positively, he calls Sky Ferreira's "Everything Is Embarrassing", the best track yet from the "What's Next" selections of the Now! series.[3]
