North light (architecture)

North light is natural light coming from the north (in the Northern Hemisphere). It consists of light which comes from the blue sky rather than directly from the sun. It is preferred and considered ideal by architects.[1] It is also preferred natural light by artists as well.[2] North light has luminous efficacy /lm/W 48, Colour correlated temperature/K 6500 and colour rendering index/R is equal to 94.northern
