Norrbäck is a settlement in the historical province of Uppland, Sweden. Located in the Sala Municipality, it is about two miles (three kilometres) southeast of Sala, and about 63 miles (101 km) northwest of Stockholm.

There are no amenities in Norrbäck itself; the nearest are found in Sala.

The nearest church is Norrby kyrka, about three miles to the north-west.

The few school-age children that live in Norrbäck are picked up by the number 66 bus at either Norrbäck vsk at 7:25 AM or, one minute later, at skollhållplats. After more pick-ups, in Sörbäck, Gamsebo and Varmsätra, the bus arrives at Varmsätra skola ten minutes later. The return journey sees the children dropped off around 4:30 PM.

The nearest golf course is Sala-Heby Golfklubb on the northern side of national roads 72/56. (Heby is actually in Uppsala County but the golf club is open to residents of both Västmanland County and Uppsala County.)

Norrbäck is accessible from the northwest (via Norrby and Öja) from the combined national roads 72 and 56 (Uppsalavägen); from the northeast on an unpaved road (via Isätra) by the same means; from the south (via Sörbäck) on national road 70; and from the east (indirectly) by Littersbovägen in Uppsala County.

Travel duration by train from Stockholm Central Station to Sala, which is Norrbäck's nearest station, varies by departure time. There are four high-speed services throughout the day (06:15, 11:08, 13:45 and 16:46), which take about 1 hour, 20 minutes. Similar-length SJ InterCity journeys depart at 07:45, 09:45, 15:45, 17:45 and 19:45. A connecting number 66 bus takes the traveller the 13 minutes and six stops from Sala to Norra Kumlaby (Varmsätra), which is a 15-minute walk from Norrbäck.
