Noah Shachtman

Noah Shachtman is an American journalist and musician. He is currently the executive editor of The Daily Beast.[1] A former non-resident fellow at The Brookings Institution,[2] he previously served as executive editor for news at Foreign Policy magazine.[3] Shachtman has reported from Afghanistan,[4] Israel, Iraq,[5] Qatar, Russia,[6] and Kuwait.[2] But he is perhaps best known as the founder and editor of Wired magazine's national security site, 'Danger Room,'[7][8] which won a National Magazine Award for reporting in digital media [9] and an Online Journalism Award for best beat reporting.[10]
