Nirvana in Fire II: The Wind Blows in Chang Lin (Chinese: 琅琊榜之风起长林) is an upcoming Chinese historical drama. It is the sequel to Nirvana in Fire, based on Hai Yan's novel with the same name. It will be directed, scripted and produced by the same team behind Nirvana in Fire, but stars an entirely new cast. The series will tell the stories that take place after the events of the original series, and will continue to revolve its plot around the Langya Hall. It will be split into two separate stories, with each story being 15 episodes long.
Shooting will begin in November 2016, the series is scheduled to be broadcast on Dragon TV, Beijing TV and iQiyi in 2017.
