Nikhil J Joshi (born 1967) is an entrepreneur and a scientist with a number of innovation based ventures both in the US and in India.

Nikhil Joshi, managing director, Sapat,[1] has been credited with developing a range of concepts in high value beverages, retail, and pharmaceutical products. His work in, rural marketing, and new ventures for the Sapat Group has facilitated significant expansion and acquisitions in the Indian and international markets.

Dr. Nikhil Joshi is also the founder of Lifel.org,[2] an organization aimed at fostering multisystem and multilevel research aimed towards solving important problems in sustainability. New insights from such studies are used to develop systemic solutions to important problems in social and ecological sustainability.

Education

Dr. Joshi has a Ph.D. from the Medical College of Virginia, where he studied quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR)[3] in new drug development. He completed his Bachelor in Pharmacy from the K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, and his Schooling from St. Xavier’s High School, Nashik. He is an alumnus of the entrepreneurship development program at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and the ISB-Kellogg Global Advanced Management Program.
