Neomarica northiana, also known as North's false flag[1] or walking iris, is a flowering plant, native to Brazil, with rhizomatous rootstock of the small genus of Neomarica, related to the large Iris family. [2]

Reproduction

As the plant grows, the weight of the flowers causes the stem to dip to the ground where the flowers take root. [3]
