Neil Hudson (Born 24 January 1957) is an English former professional motocross racer. He won the 1981 250cc Motocross World Championship.[1]

Biography

Hudson was born in Pensford, Somerset. In 1979, Hudson finished second to Håkan Carlquist in the 250cc motocross world championship riding a Maico. He won the F.I.M. 250cc motocross world champion in 1981 as a member of the Yamaha factory racing team. He was the first British rider to win a 250cc motocross championship. He moved up to the 500cc class in 1982 and finished the season in third place behind Brad Lackey and André Vromas.
