Navarredonda de Gredos is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain.[1] According to the 2011 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 472 inhabitants.[2] The area is located at an elevation of 1,523 metres (4,997 ft) above sea level.[3][4]
Economy
Navarredonda de Gredos, used to be mainly a village depending on farming. Actually it is more oriented towards turism. In addition to the Parador_de_Gredos, the village has various companies dedicated to activities for tourism, including horse riding excursions. Gredos offers the possibilty of skiing during the winter.
