National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Aurangabad with its Maharashtra center in Dr B.A.M. University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. NIELIT Aurangabad is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.

Location

The campus of NIELIT Centre, Aurangabad (formerly DOEACC Society, Aurangabad Centre) is inside the Dr B.A.M. University, Aurangabad[1] The site spreads over more than 18 acres. The Aurangabad Caves are near to the campus. The Soneri Mahal (Golden Palace), an ancient monument at the foot of the hills, is also near to the center of the campus, while Bibi Ka Maqbara is at the north side.

Aims

Objective

NIELIT Aurangabad was established primarily to train manpower in Electronics Design and Technology, Information Technology, Electronics Product Design and Development, Manufacturing (Electronics and Mechanical) Technology, Applied research and Consultancy in the field of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). The objectives are:

B.Tech Program

The B.Tech course started in NIELIT Aurangabad, namely Electronic System Engineering (ESE), the course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),[2] The Degree is awarded by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
