Nathan Truesdell

Nathan Truesdell is an independent filmmaker. He produced Convention,[1] which played at festivals around the US. His first feature film was a documentary about the Mongolia-based band Giants They Might Be titled John (A Tale of Two Gigantics). He is currently working post-production on three other documentaries, each scheduled to be out sometime in 2013-2014.

Truesdell is on the Cinema Eye Honors [2] executive board, an award for nonfiction filmmaking that was first presented at the IFC Center in New York City on March 18, 2008.

He has worked with many award winning and well-regarded documentary filmmakers.

Truesdell comes from Clark, Missouri where he spent the first 18 years of his life. He then realized the practicality of college and attended the University of Missouri. He obtained his degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. NATE comes from the DIY school of filmmaking.
