Mustafa Akgül


Mustafa Akgül (born 10 May 1948) is the key figure of acceptance of Internet to large masses in Turkish.

He went to the University of Waterloo, Canada and got his PhD in Combinatorics and Optimisation.[1]

He started with the motto of "Internet is life".[2] He has many different ways to touch people in academia, in social media and ordinary people at the street. The main problem, initially, was to raise public awareness for the Internet in Turkey.
