Moro Branislav (born April 22, 1957[1]) is a Serbian volleyball coach who is currently the head coach of the Foton Tornadoes of the Philippine Super Liga since October 8, 2016. He also coached the PSL Manila selection team that participated at the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

Career

Branislav, a Level 3 FIVB coach,[2] has coached clubs in various countries such as Belarus, Greece, Kuwait, Libya, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the now defunct Yugoslavia.[3] He has also coached the national teams of Yugoslavia and Zaire.[3]

Branislav went to North Korea in May 2015 to coach the volleyball team of the April 25 Sports Club. He led the team at the 2015 AVC Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship.[4] He was also in charge of the women's national team of North Korea.[3]

In late September 2016, Branislav was appointed as the head coach of the PSL Manila, a selection team that was set to participate at the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. The management of the team was waiting for Branislav's availability who replaces Japanese coach Shun Takahashi who was reassigned as the team's first assistant coach.[2] The Serbian was also appointed by the Foton Tornadoes o the Philippine Super Liga after their former coach Fabio Menta was relieved from his post. His 30-day contract with the team began on October 8, 2016.[3]
