Mokal

Mokal is a town and Union Council of Kasur District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It is part of Chunian Tehsil and is located at 30°46'60N 74°12'0E with an altitude of 178 metres (587 feet).[2]

Mokal is a village 30 km west to Jaislmer in thar desert having a military medical hospital and one of the traditionalist old village comprising temple devoted to Dunger-Pir. This village is said to be on the name of prince Mokal, grandson to Rawal Jaisal of Jaisalmer.
