Miss Universe Trinidad & Tobago is a national beauty pageant in Trinidad & Tobago

Organization

Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe is an organisation dedicated to selecting a national delegate to represent the country at the international Miss Universe pageant annually. While the organising committee seeks to do this in a fair and democratic manner, it also seeks other outcomes including the upliftment of women through beauty and expression.

Mission

To seek a national candidate to represent the republic at the international, annual Miss Universe pageant; and in so doing create a forum for the upliftment of women through beauty, intellect and expression.

The winner of Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago represents her country at the Miss Universe. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent. Trinidad & Tobago has had two Miss Universes since the Miss Universe inception in 1952
