According to Tuttomercatoweb, clubs like Parma and AS Roma was interested in Desler and compared him with the Roma-legend Daniele De Rossi.[1]

On 8 April 2014, Desler got his debut for OB.[2] Desler started on the bench, but replaced Mustafa Abdellaoue in the 73nd minut in a 2-1 victory against Randers FC in the Danish Superliga.

At the age of 19, Desler was moved to the first team squad in the summer 2014 and did also sign a new three-year contract with OB, after an impressive performance on a training camp with the first team in the winter 2014.[3]
