In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the mihstu is a type of fictional monster.

Publication history

The mihstu first appeared in the first set of Monster Cards in 1982. The mihstu appeared in the original Monster Manual II (1983).[1]

Description

A mihstu is an elemental creature which inhabits the elemental plane of Air, and resembles a cloud of swirling mist and can seep through small cracks and openings. A mihstu can form four solid tentacles tipped with razor sharp talons, and can drain the life from victims by enveloping them in its misty body.

Other publishers

The mihstu appeared in the Tome of Horrors (2002) from Necromancer Games.[2]

The mihstu appeared in Paizo Publishing's book Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 2 (2010), on page 190.[3]
